The A-Beam is an extruded terracotta beam light. The terracotta is extruded in wet clay state and dried and fired in giant kilns. The extrusion profile is expressed at the end of the lamps and is designed to incorporates the channels for the LED light source and diffuser.

We really enjoy the fusion of clean functionality with the rich and imperfect nature of the ceramic that is possible through this highly industrial process.
